Example:

A residence valued at $215,000 has an assessed value of $20,425.  If it is located in tax district 0150, it then has a tax amount of $1,512.61

215,000 x 9.5% = 20,425
20,425 x .074057 = $1,512.61

When figuring the tax amount, the decimal point in the mill levy is moved 3 places to the left.
